Hand embroidered in Japan using rare vintage materials. The Kyoto-based jewellery brand Tamas was founded by Asuka Shitamori in 2009 and has continued to create limited quantity embroidered jewellery ever since.
The "Ephemeral Earring" captures the fleeting beauty of a butterfly dancing in the light. Inspired by a moment in a video where a butterfly sparkled and danced around the designer's daughter, these earrings evoke a sense of wonder and transient beauty.
The base is meticulously crafted from dark gray beads and thread, with intricate detailing. The surface shimmers with carefully placed beads, reflecting light like the delicate wings of a butterfly. The back is finished with pig leather and brass, providing a comfortable and secure fit.

Purveyor of handmade embroidered jewellery, hails from Kyoto and was founded by designer A. Shitamori in 2009. The brand is known for embroidering rare vintage materials from France onto light leather.
There are various “shapes” in the world. In the dizzyingly changing days, I think that important things are packed in the “forms” that pass by and are overlooked. An accessory brand that was born in April 2009 with the concept of “collecting little by little, like picking up sounds that quietly echo from ‘shapes’.”
The materials used are mainly rare French vintage sequins and beads. Each piece is produced by hand in our atelier, as if weaving the time engraved in the material itself. I hope that the material, the production method, the accessories that are born from it, the person who holds it, and the air that surrounds that person are connected in a single line.
