The Oval Leather Strap with Carabiner is a collaboration between Japanese designer brand Mame Kurogouchi and Japanese leather goods maker Tsuchiya Kaban.
Crafted from a slender cow leather strap, the design is finished with an original oval-shaped carabiner whose softly organic curve evokes the form of traditional bamboo basketry. Black leather is paired with matte gold-tone metal and refined wrapped-leather detailing for an understated yet distinctive finish.
It can be worn on its own as a necklace-style accessory or used to attach a pouch, key case, card holder or other small accessory, allowing for versatile styling according to everyday needs.
