The U Bag XL Suede in Aqua from Spanish designer brand Cortana is a large-format, unstructured shopper bag handcrafted in Alicante, Spain. Made from soft and lightweight goat suede, the bag offers a refined, natural texture and an effortless silhouette.

Its wide top handles allow for both hand and shoulder carrying. The suede is treated using an eco-friendly tanning process in which all water is purified before being returned to the environment. Subtle color variations from the artisanal dyeing process give each bag a unique and expressive character.

Cortana

Cortana is the brand of the designer Rosa Esteva, born and raised on the island of Mallorca, where from an early age she cultivated a close relationship with art and nature.

At the age of 18 she moved to Barcelona, where she studied Fine Arts and Fashion Design. Shortly after finishing her studies she began to design her own collections and in 2001 she created Cortana and opened her first store at Palma.

The creations of Cortana are characterised by their careful selection of fabrics, its colour palette and unique prints, which are based on the creative director’s own watercolours.

Collections made exclusively with natural fabrics of the highest quality, each piece is created with care and attention to detail by artisan hands. Since its inception the production focuses on small workshops that keep alive the textile heritage of Barcelona or in Mallorca, where we support the recovery of local craftsmanship.
