＊MANTECO：founded in the 40s from a semi-destroyed spinning mill in a small town called Resina, close to Naples, Italy. MANTECO started with giving a second life to recycled military blankets and garments that were made of high-quality and extra-fine worsted wool. Each garment was shredded, then spun to create precious recycled wool yarns, all without using chemicals, simply through a mechanical and wet process, and this process is still used today. LE17SEPTEMBRE is named after the designer’s birthday. Based in Seoul, the brand was launched in 2013. Founder Eunhye Shin takes a fabric-first approach to her designs. Start with the collected fabric samples, and then plan the wardrobe styles for each season.
