Description
Crafted from a semi-sheer blend of linen and silk, the Sigga shirt from Mark Kenly Domino Tan’s Atelier Collection* brings a light and airy feel to classic tailored shirts. The plain weave fabric surface presents beautiful slub details, resembling bamboo knots, adding an extra touch of elegance. Combined with the natural luster of silk, it gives the shirt a cloud-like ethereal effect. The dropped shoulders and curved hemline further enhance its graceful silhouette.
At the front, the shirt features a standard collar, front chest pocket, and sleeve cuffs with patchwork details, creating a modern and playful twist on the classic shirt through the juxtaposition of different materials and levels of transparency. The intentionally lengthened single-button cuffs can be folded like French cuffs, while the fabric’s stiffness adds to the relaxed, casual atmosphere of the oversized H-shaped cut.
*Slub: Achieved through a technique called loom chatter, slub refers to irregularities in yarn thickness that create a distinctive texture on the fabric’s surface, resembling bamboo knots.
*MKDT Atelier Collection: Mark Kenly Domino Tan’s Atelier collection offers limited edition bespoke pieces, showcasing the brand’s unique artistry and craftsmanship. This season’s collection features Baroque pearls crafted by SWAROVSKI, adding a distinctive charm to the pieces.
*In the photos it is paired with Sun Yu Hong‘s EDITH SKIRT.
