This patchwork knit long vest from Taiwanese designer Sun Yu Hong is crafted from Leavers lace, a specialty of the Calais-Caudry region in France. It features a gingham pattern woven with gold and silver threads, adorned with intricate Oriental-style button closure at the front, complemented by an elegant round neckline. The neckline, sleeve cuffs, and hem are embellished with woven details, delicately blending feminine grace. Designed with a thoughtful inner lining, it offers a soft and breathable wearing experience. This sleeveless top showcases meticulous craftsmanship and seamlessly blends Eastern and Western aesthetics.

Graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, and had internships at brands such as Dior, Chloé, John Galliano in Paris. After returning to Taiwan, Sun worked as a merchandise purchaser at ISSEY MIYAKE Taiwan’s general agent Taiwan Given Co., Ltd., and later as a colour researcher in Xuexue Institute.
Sun founded her personal brand in 2010, often combining lace, embroidery and clothing design to express women’s gentleness and elegant lines.

Leavers lace from France has a history of over 200 years. It is renowned for its intricate warp and weft structure, produced on special traditional looms. The lace's exquisite and luxurious patterns are considered the pinnacle of lace craftsmanship. This type of lace comes with a unique "Dentelle de Calais-Caudry®" label, which includes a certificate of origin and a unique serial number. It is an official mark granted by the French government, reserved exclusively for lace produced in the Calais-Caudry region and woven only on 19th-century Leavers looms. These looms are the only ones capable of achieving the unique interlacing of warp and weft threads, giving Leavers lace its distinctive quality, delicacy, and durability. Unlike ordinary knitted mesh lace, Leavers lace offers limitless creative possibilities in design, without any restrictions.

畢業於倫敦聖馬丁藝術大學， 曾於巴黎Dior、Chloé、John Galliano…等品牌實習。回台後至ISSEY MIYAKE台灣總代理君梵有限公司任職商品採購，後於學學文創擔任色彩研究員。
2010年創立個人品牌，經常將蕾絲、刺繡與服裝設計結合，表現女性的溫柔氣息和優雅線條。
