This mini drawstring handbag from COSMIC WONDER is crafted from extra soft New Zealand deer leather. Meticulously chrome-tanned by artisans, the leather possesses a softness distinct from regular materials, with a fine texture and excellent touch. The natural texture and wrinkles of deer leather give each small bag a unique appearance. The opening and closing of the bag are designed with a drawstring closure, preventing items inside from easily falling out. The bag has a single-sided exterior pocket. When tightened, the bag takes on the shape of a petite pouch, embodying the aesthetic of COSMIC WONDER. Also available in black.

COSMIC WONDER

Founded in 1997 by Yukinori Maeda. The “Center for COSMIC WONDER”, located in Minami Aoyama, Tokyo, functions as a site for activities and presentations. COSMIC WONDER is a conceptual project comprising various modes of expression from clothing, artwork and publishing to performance.

In 2016 COSMIC WONDER moved its studio to a traditional house and workshop in Miyama, a remote village in the mountains north of Kyoto, which is designated as a national preservation district of historic buildings.

Yukinori Maeda

Founder of COSMIC WONDER, Contemporary artist. He is currently based in Miyama, north of Kyoto. Whether through photography, three-dimensional media, or painting, he expresses a spiritual space inflected with his personal experiences.
