Nuri beaded skirt from Mark Kenly Domino Tan’s 24 Spring/Summer Atelier collection is adorned with Baroque pearls on its semi-transparent hem, resembling gems shimmering in the waves and adding a subtle touch of glamour to the overall look. The designer drew inspiration from the beautiful and mysterious ocean this season, skilfully integrating the ocean’s fluidity and transparency into the design, evoking the feeling of being immersed in the ever-changing depths of the sea.
The Nuri pencil skirt features an H-shaped cut that accentuates the curves of the hips and elongates the legs, giving the wearer a more slender and elegant appearance. The slit design at the back of the skirt and the slanted pockets add practicality to the piece.
Baroque pearls of various shapes are delicately embroidered onto the semi-transparent plain weave fabric, creating a visually captivating effect reminiscent of droplets scattered on the surface. The pearls on the sheer fabric evoke images of pearl divers returning from their ventures in the waves. The silk and linen blend fabric of the plain weave is lightweight and possesses a charming semi-transparency. The surface of the fabric is enriched with the unique texture of slub, giving it a distinctive luster and depth. The exquisite details and design make the Nuri skirt a truly unique and decorative piece, akin to a work of art.
